Hello Oh-So-Generous Chadwickians,

Stephanie Fox (of Rock Lobster & Shirley’s Temple) has been working very hard in conjunction with the Martini Ranch to put together a night of amazing music to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. They’ve done an incredible job of putting it together so far and it’s officially a go.

Said night of amazing music is happening this Monday, Sept. 26th at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. It kicks off at 7PM and goes until 1:30AM.

We will be accepting donations at the door. All proceeds go directly toward the victims as the owners of Martini Ranch have so generously donated their time, space and revenue for the night to the cause as well as the efforts on the part of the participating artists.

I hope that everybody had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day. The spirit of the hard working American is never more apparent than on the first Monday of each September when we work really hard at eating 6 or more hotdogs in one sitting. Ahhh. Labor Day. Feels good to be an American doesn’t it? (Oh, my stomach.)

To quote the great Mike Reno, “Everybody’s workin’ for the weekend.”
(Wait a minute. Loverboy’s from Canada. Oh well.)

This weekend (Friday, Sept. 9th to be exact), The Chadwicks will once again be working very hard to deliver the rock to the people. We will be staging this rock and roll pony express at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. Delivery of goods starts at 10:00 PM and continues until 1:30 AM or later. We’d love for you to accept your priority rock package in person.

Please don’t forget about our fellow countrymen and women who have been suffering as a result of Hurricane Katrina. There have been some talks about getting a benefit show together that would include The Chadwicks and/or Rock Lobster. We will be sure to pass along the details pronto when we have something further to report. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to donate to the Red Cross or any other viable relief effort.
