Celluloid Lobster

The Chadwicks’ alter-ego, Rock Lobster, plays the 10th Annual Phoenix Film Festival tonight, Friday, April 9th, at the Harkins Scottsdale/101 Theatre at 7000 E Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054, at Scottsdale & the 101. This is our first time playing this outdoor event and we’re very excited about it. It takes place in the Harkins parking lot, just outside of the theaters. You don’t have to take in a movie to enjoy the dulcet 80’s tones of the Lobster, but why wouldn’t you?

Summerfest Update!

Summerfest ‘09!

Sorry, loyal Chadwickians, but The Chadwicks will NOT be playing Milwaukee’s Summerfest this year. The emails and guestbook queries we’ve received are SINCERELY appreciated, so it is with a heavy heart that I relate this sad news to you. There is no joy in Rockville on this day.

There are myriad reasons why, but I’ll have to save updates on the future of the band for a later, more prudent time. For now, suffice it to say that we deeply regret not being able to join all of you this year for what is truly the party of all parties.

In the meantime, if you’re sad that The Chadwicks won’t be a part of Summerfest ‘09, if you’ll miss us as much as we’ll miss you, contact Summerfest and let them know that you want The Chadwicks back in 2010!

Thanks for your support, gang!

Steph-A-Palooza!!!

Hey Friendsl!!!

Please come out to Martini Ranch in Scottsdale on Sunday, March 29th from 5-7:30PM. We’re having a benefit show to raise money for Rock Lobster singer Stephanie Foxx. Stephanie is battling breast cancer and can use all the support we can muster.

There will be live music from members of Shirley’s Temple, The Chadwicks, Rock Lobster, Metalhead and surprise guests aplenty. It’s free to get in, with donations being graciously accepted. And raffles? Yes, raffles! What would a benefit be without raffles? All the money raised is being used to take the strain off of not being able to work while “Spud” is going through treatment. Heck, even a portion of the proceeds from every drop of alcohol you consume will go towards Stephanie’s medical expenses. It’s going to be one gigantic, friend filled, music fest of love. See you there.

Great Fair News, Everyone!!!

You’ve got three, Three, THREE big chances to see The Chadwicks play this week. We’ll be at the Arizona State Fair on Thursday AND Friday, October 23rd and 24th, as well as Martini Ranch on Friday night, following our State Fair appearance.

Thursday and Friday, come on out to the Arizona State Fairgrounds for some Fair food and Fair fun. Both days, we’ll be on the Budweiser stage just west of the Coliseum, playing two sets at 4 and 7PM. We’re sharing the stage with our good friends Chuck E. Baby & The Allstars (5:30 and 8:30PM). The Budweiser stage is in a brand new spot this year, right next to the Wallace & Ladmo stage, making for a far superior musical experience. And while you’re there, folks, you’re gonna wanna see The Strange Thing. And no, I’m not referring to any part of our drummer Gary’s anatomy.

Then, on Friday night, Oct. 24th, we’re bringing the rock and roll freak show back to Martini Ranch in Scottsdale for a full night of your favorite rock hits of today and yesterday. With Martini’s awesome sound and lighting, and the four of us rocking at full force, get a couple of drinks in you and it’ll be like having your own private Tilt-A-Whirl!

If you miss us at the AZ State Fair this week, you’ll have one last chance to catch us there next week, on Thursday, Oct. 30th, Halloween Eve.

We can’t wait to see you.

“Long live rock! I need it every night!”

Thrilling Triple Bill Action Like You’ve Never Seen It Before!

Hey Gang,

Something very exciting is happening this Friday, July 25th at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. Not only are The Chadwicks playing their usual raucous round of rock and roll hits from 10:30PM until club close, but a very special opening act will be joining us for the evening.

Carbon 9, a very cool, original rock and roll band from Los Angeles, will be playing a forty minute set right before The Chadwicks. This isn’t just ANY band, mind you. These are some of the most awesome musicians you’ve ever heard, with a kickin’ live show and an awesome new album with a single that’s garnering radio airplay around the country. Oh yeah, and they also just so happen to be Chadwicks’ guitarist Dallan Baumgarten’s former band before he left Cali for AZ. Since that fateful turn of events, they’ve obviously recruited a new guit-fiddler and haven’t missed a beat. They’re better than ever and you’ll be sorry if you miss this rare Scottsdale performance by Carbon 9.

And don’t forget about Javier Garcia’s acoustic stylings to put you in the mood. What mood? Well, that’s for you to decide.

Come early if you can, but please join us, won’t you?

8:30 - Javier Garcia
9:45 - Carbon 9
10:30 - The Chadwicks

Don’t let the heat keep you away, because it’s supposed cool back down nicely by the time The Chadwicks play the final installment of the SanTan Village Spring Concert Series this Saturday, May 24th from 6-8PM. Where is it? Well, it’s at SanTan Village of course (silly). Just hop the Loop 202 to the Williams Field Rd exit in Gilbert. The SanTan Plaza is located between Charlotte Russe and The Buckle. This is a free, outdoor show open to the general public, so bring the kids. Or don’t.

Just to be clear, regardless of the location of the show, we will not be playing any Santana. But, we just might play some San Halen, or some Sanz Ferdinand, or some SanTemple pilots, or even Sublime’s “Santeria", or maybe some…

Spring Swing!

What up, Wicktonians?!?

The Chadwicks are in full Spring swing this week. Lots of news. Let’s get to it!

1) The Martini Ranch show that was originally posted and scheduled to happen this Friday, March 28th, had to be cancelled due to a club buy-out. Don’t fret. We’ll be back at the Ranch before you know it. Friday, April 18th, to be exact.

B) If you need to satisfy a serious Chadwick/mexican food fix this week, then pop on out to Salty Senorita in Peoria for a post Spring Training Baseball game show this Thursday, March 27th, from 4:30-6:30PM. Baseball, booze, great eats and rock and roll. Keep it moving. Nothing to see here!

Fourthly) It has come to our attention that The Chadwicks have been nominated for Best Local Band by AZCentral.com. Wow. Not sure how that happened, but we are greatly honored nonetheless. Just go here to see all of the nominees and vote for your favorite. If you are a complete and total Chadwicks nut, then by all means, vote for us. We’ll gladly show our appreciation by either impregnating you or buying you a drink at the next show (but not both). I don’t think that anyone in the band has any misguided aspirations of beating out the likes of Jimmy Eat World or Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, but it sure might be fun to know that we handily spanked The Format. ;-) Ah, a band can dream.

That’s all for now, faithful Chadwickers. Thanks for reading. And special thanks for listening all these years!

Friday, Feb. 29th! No one can take it away from you!

Happy New Year, Chadwickers!

2008. Well, I’ll be a Ding Dong Daddy-Do!

This Friday, Jan. 11th, at Martini Ranch, start the new year off with some bite by rocking out to the New Time’s (undisputed*) Best AZ Cover Band 2003 (*the category was eliminated the very next year, so until they decide to reinstate it, we’re UNDISPUTED!). Yes, the boys are back with some new songs and a brand new attitude. A bad one. Much like NBC’s American Gladiators, you don’t want to miss this monumental showing of rock and roll strength. ARRGGHH!

We’ll be pulling out some musical jems that we haven’t played in a very long while and spreading the holiday cheer in the best way we know how - by delivering the X-mas miracle known as rock and roll. Tonight’s Show Cancelled!

Just a quick note to let you know that The Chadwicks are NOT playing tonight (9/14/07) at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, regardless of what the newspapers might say. Originally we were going to play a set as part of an after party for the Sauza/KDKB Battle of the Bands. However, KDKB booked enough bands in the battle that there would not have been enough time left at the end of the night for us to set up our equipment, let alone play any music.

To anyone who gets this message too late and comes away from tonight’s event disappointed that The Chadwicks did not perform, we are sincerely sorry and hope that the bands that you did get to see didn’t suck too badly. Please come see us at the Ranch in a few weeks on Friday, Oct. 12th.

Rock Never Takes A Vacation

Hey Gang,

The Chadwicks will be playing this Friday, August 31 at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. We hit the stage at 10:30, which means you’re going to want to get there and hit the bottle by 10. (Just a quick note to all of our female fans: All the cleavage that we’ve been seeing in the audience as of late has been extremely distracting. So much so that we’ve been known to forget lyrics and miss notes. I just wanted to say, “Bravo!” Keep up the good work and thank you.)

Also, this Wednesday, August 29th, (Chadwicks’ side project) The Flannels will be playing all of your favorite grunge tunes at The Loft on Mill Ave. in Tempe. The boys from The Flannels don’t get into town from their home state of Washington very often, so you’re not going to want to miss this 10:30PM show. It’s grunge to the last drop.

We cherish our time at Summerfest in the Midwest and we’re excited to share the stage with the likes of Violent Femmes and The Goo Goo Dolls, but we’re just as excited when we get to share The Ranch with all of you. Filed under: — Dallan @ 1:21 am

Chads & Chadettes,

It’s one big, bodacious, butt-load of birthday blowout this Friday, May 25th at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. The Chadwicks are playing AND our peerless possessor of powerful pipes, lead singer Tim Teal, is having a birthday on same, said day. What are the odds?

You know what this means, don’t you? It means that Tim’s unholy appetite for shots will be even greater than normal. I know, I know. Hard to believe, right? Believe it! It’s our widdle Timmy-wimmy’s berry special day and the birthday boy shall not be denied due process. If he wants shots, then shots he shall have!!! (In fact, shots for anyone who calls him their “widdle Timmy-wimmy".)

Please come join us in the festivities. There’ll be some rockin’ and there’ll be some celebratin’. And there’ll be some Hell to pay later. Come join us, won’t you?

Oh yeah. Did I mention that the whole thing is being filmed? Hmmmm.

Summerfest Date Changed!

Hey Gang,

Just a quick comment and schedule change.

We wanted to let you all know (especially our Midwest fans) that we’re getting very excited at the prospect of gracing the Miller Lite Oasis Stage at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI once again. Each year at this time, once we get our flights and rooms booked, it begins to creep up on us ever so quickly. The next thing we know, BAM!, we’re in Milwaukee rocking out, drinking Miller Lite and eating fried cheese. What a way to kick off the Summer.

Our Summerfest dates have changed! We will now be playing Thursday, June 28th and Saturday, June 30th. We’ll be opening for Violent Femmes and The Goo Goo Dolls, respectively. Our Thursday show has replaced what was supposed to be a Friday show. So now, instead of playing, we’ll have Friday off. There’s a very good chance you’ll catch us wandering the Summerfest grounds all day Friday, just kicking it and taking it all in. Can’t wait, and we hope to see you all there!

Extra Mayo!

Hello out there all you Rock & Rollers!

You’ve been craving more Chadwicks? Well, you’ve got it.

The Chadwicks will be headlining Martini Ranch in Scottsdale this Friday, May 4th (Cuatro de Mayo, or something like that) all by our rock ‘n roll lonesome. The visiting national act, The Fratellis, who were also scheduled to be playing that night, have cancelled, so The Chadwicks will be doing our regular, all night, play until we’re blue in the fingers and sing until we’re raw in the vocal chords shtick. Get there around 10. Join us, won’t you?

Then, on Saturday, May 5th (Cinco De Mayo), The “Chad Daddies” (that’s us) will be rocking the valley’s biggest, baddest Cinco de Mayo bash, “Senoritaville", at Salty Senorita in North Scottsdale from 6:30 - 9PM. You can find details and directions at the Salty web site below. Not to be missed. Last year’s “Senoritaville” jam was off the hook.

The Chadwicks, coming to you two nights in a row, thanks to the beautiful combination of Martini Ranch and Salty Senorita. Life is good.

I could swear that Cinco de Mayo was on May 5th last year as well. Coincidence? Hmmm.

Rockin’ You, baby!

Hey Gang,

These next couple of days are pretty busy for The Chadwicks. Join us, won’t you?

On Friday, April 20th, we’ll be rocking Martini Ranch in Scottsdale from 10:30PM until 1:30AM. We’ll be playing rock, rock ’til you drop. Or until we do. Or until our pants do. Whichever comes last, of course.

Earlier that same evening, also at Martini Ranch, we’ll be doing a special early set from 7PM-8PM to help out our friends at Rock for the Cure. It’s a nonprofit organization created to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Come by and rock out early for a great cause, then go grab some dinner and come back for the late show.

Even earlier that same day, you can catch us at 8:30AM on Channels 3’s Good Morning! Arizona live. We’ll be playing some tunes and chatting up our special Rock for the Cure performance at Martini Ranch.

Then, if you’ve not had enough of the rock yet, come check us out Saturday, April 21st from Noon until 4PM at Portland Place Sales Gallery/Gold Spot Gallery as we rock downtown Phoenix at 1001 North 3rd Avenue to show off some nifty condos that you’re going to want to buy. No purchase necessary.

Whew. There’s just no stopping the rock.

It’s A Celebration!

This Friday, March 30th, at 10PM, come on down to Martini Ranch in Scottsdale to commemorate the very first use of Ether as an anaesthetic during an operation (1842). Or, come down and celebrate the birthday of that hilarious Dutch painter, Vincent Van Gogh (1853). Better still, why not throw one back in honor of America’s purchase of Alaska from the Russians for 7.2 million dollars (1867).

Either way, The Chadwicks will be rockin’ the house all freakin’ night long. Surely you can find something to celebrate! You bring the reason and we’ll bring the rock.

Mucho Caliente!

We’ve got two mighty HOT shows coming up this weekend, folks!

HOT, as in the fiery exhaust coming out the chrome tail pipe of a big, fat Harley hog.

HOT, as in the zesty, piquant flavors of a hundred, savory salsas.

Hot, as in the Arizona summer is kicking in and people are starting to wear a lot less clothing, so you’re gonna wanna get your ass outside and on down to Chester’s Harley-Davidson and the Salsa Challenge this weekend, hotties!

For starters, The Chadwicks will be rockin’ into the night on Friday, March 25th with an Official Arizona Bike Week performance for the 2nd Annual BACKSTAGE BIKER BASH “BBB 2007” at Chester’s Harley-Davidson in Mesa from 6-8PM. There’ll be loads of live music, special guest appearances, a beer garden and lots of food.

Then on Saturday, March 26th, come kick it down at Tempe Beach Park for the My Nana’s Best Tasting Salsa Challenge. Twenty thousand people tasting and voting for their favorites out of over 70 salsas. Heaven…I’m in heaven. This is by far my favorite event of the year. Save some tostada chips for us! Proceeds benefit the Hemophilia Association.

The Flannels will indeed be playing at Martini Ranch on Friday, April 6th, and The Chadwicks will indeed be playing at Martini Ranch on Friday, April 20th.

We’ll see you there.

Chaddingtons & Chadettes,

This year, don’t get caught pitching a tent. Come shamrock out on St. Patrick’s Day with The Chadwicks at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. We’ll be playing 80’s new wave music all night long under our alias, Rock Lobster (shhhh…alter egos are fun). Short of flying to Dublin, there’s simply no other place to be!

Have you ever seen a green Lobster? Well, here’s your chance. The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is waiting for you at Martini Ranch this Saturday, March 17th. The shenanigans start at 8PM and Rock Lobster hits the stage around 10.

Show Date Changed (NOT)!

Attention! The following information is no longer valid! Please see above for the real deal!

Please note that The Chadwicks’ Friday, April 20th show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ has been moved to Friday, April 6th at same, said venue. I repeat, The Chadwicks’ April 20th show has been switched to April 6th. See how that works? That means that you get two Chadwicks’ Fridays in a row! March 30th and April 6th! Wow. Life is good.

Thusly, The Flannels’ (good friends of The Chadwicks, wink, wink) April 6th show at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ, as would stand to reason, has been changed as well. You guessed it! The Flannels will now be playing at Martini Ranch on Friday, April 20th instead. You just can’t stop the rock.

Summerfest Dates Announced!

Every year, it’s the same thing. We try not to get too excited about the prospect of playing at Summerfest until we have some actual dates to plan for. After all, it’s Miller Lite’s world and we just play in it. We don’t take it for granted and we try not to put the cart before the horse until we get the “official say so". Well, it’s time to get excited.

We just confirmed our dates for Friday, June 29th and Saturday, June 30th. Very few of the headliners have even been confirmed yet and there is always a small chance that our dates could change, but I doubt it. Just in case, all of you Milwaukee area FOC’s (that’s Friends of the Chadwicks ;-)), please keep an eye on our calendar just in case. Let the countdown begin…

5…4…3…2…1…Milwaukee, we have lift off! Summerfest, here we come.

I Heart Rock!

This Valentine’s Day is all about love. The love of rock and roll, baby!

What say you just skip the flowers and chocolate this year and have some drinks with The Flannels and The Chadwicks?

Firstly, come spend Wednesday, Feb 14th (Valentine’s Day, for the romantically challenged) with The Flannels at The Cherry Lounge on Mill Ave. in Tempe. There’ll be diamond necklace give-aways, KY thumb wrestling, girls from Fascinations & scantily clad grunge dancers. Oh yeah, and the best live grunge music you’ve ever heard from The Flannels (featuring members of Metalhead and The Chadwicks). 10PM would be a really good time to get there and don’t forget to wear your flannel proudly.

Secondly, start your weekend off right and come rock with The Chadwicks at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale on Friday, Feb. 16th. You won’t find better live, modern, damn, rock music being played any damn where, if I do say so my damn self. It all starts at 10PM and is the perfect way to start getting over the heart-break blues that you inevitably started experiencing earlier in the week.

Valentine’s Day 101: Lesson One -
Come meet your future Mr. or Mrs. Ex while you rock out to your heart’s content with The Flannels & The Chadwicks!

Ladies & Chaddingtons,

It’s that time of year once again. “What time of year?” you ask.

Why, time for Jilly’s American Grill to throw their
8th Annual Caddysack Tent Party!

Did I say Tent Party?
I meant Giant Tent Party!!!

And, oddly enough, it’s all in the name of golf. Well, not really. It’s more in the name of rocking out, drinking heavily and taking your top off, but let’s not quibble over semantics. The FBR Open is in town and they all go hand in hand.

It all happens this Saturday, Feb, 3rd.
Rock Lobster plays from 8-10:15pm.
The Chadwicks play from 11pm-1am.

Can’t Stop The Rock

Greetings Wickermen & Wickerwomen,

I hope everyone had a tryptophan-tastic Turkey day! Gobblefest 2006 was amazing thanks to all of you who came out to join us. Yes, we were a bit hung over for the families the next day, but I believe I stated early on that this was the whole point. So, mission accomplished!

We’re back at Martini Ranch again this Friday, Dec. 1st. Why? Because there’s no stopping the rock, that’s why. Picture Gobblefest 2006, but without all the feathers. Yes, there will be the handsomest fans of any band in the land. Yes, there will be the imbibing of myriad liquids. And yes, there will more rock than you can shake a stick at (although, why you would want to shake a stick at the rock is beyond me). And of course, Mr. Bobby St. Vincent will be warming you beautiful people up with his dulcet, acoustic tones.

We’ll see you there.

Gobblefest 2006 is here!

It’s the biggest night of them all. Come join us this Wednesday, Nov. 22nd, the night before Thanksgiving, at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, for Gobblefest 2006. We decided that this year our families could take back seat to you, the fans. Let the relatives deal with the hung over us for a change, because we’ll be rocking well into Thanksgiving morning with you people. Bring all your cool friends and cousins, but leave that crabby Aunt at home.

There will be lots of silly giveaways, plus free deviled eggs to the first 50 people closest to us when we throw them!

Remember, it ain’t cool to act like a jive turkey so close to Thanksgiving, so come on down to the Ranch this Wednesday night and join in the festivities. Gobblefest 2006, baby!

Fair Well

Three weeks of shows at the AZ State Fair and The Carnywicks…er…Chadwicks are back and ready to rock Martini Ranch once again. This Friday, Nov. 10th to be precise. 10:00PM-1:30AM to be even more precise.

With no Mega-Drops, hypnotists or giant turkey legs to distract us, I have a feeling we’re going to rock even harder than ever.

And no matter how much we might deny it after a few beers, it’s a GOOD THING that Martini Ranch doesn’t serve Indian Fry Bread. We couldn’t eat another bite.

We’ll see you there.

P.S. (A big thank you to Terry Stokes and The Fake Fours for putting up with us “1 Fairs” folks.)

Hey Everyone,

The carny life is really treating us well. The shows have been a lot of fun and collectively, as a band, I think we’ve only thrown up twelve times (eleven of those being me). That’s not bad considering just how much Indian fry bread we’ve actually eaten. (I WILL CONQUER YOU YET, TILT-A WHIRL!)

Well, you can only be flipped upside down and sideways so many times before your inner ear is telling you to get your feet back on solid ground. Tonight, The Chadwicks are back rocking Martini Ranch in Scottsdale from 10PM until 1:30AM. We’ll be doing a few tunes that we haven’t played in quite some time, Tim will be spitting fire and Gary’s still not wearing any pants behind the drum kit. I know that sometimes it looks like he is, but that’s just the stage lighting.

Come on by and rock out with us. As always, thanks for supporting live music. We’ll see you there.

Hey Fellow Chadwickians,

The Chadwicks are now officially carny folk and we’ve got our photo ID’s to prove it. We’re playing several shows at the Arizona State Fair in downtown Phoenix and living the carny life. We’ve been so busy lately that I’m just now getting around to letting you know, what with constructing the Tilt-A Whirl, greasing the Penny Toss plates, mixing the corn dog batter and feeding the over-sized alligator. Somehow, we’re still finding time to play some rock shows.

We’re on the Budweiser Stage at the SW corner of the fair and alternating sets with The Fake Four and master hypnotist Terry Stokes. Fun, fun, fun. Come on down and join us. Your hands will get smaller and you’ll be smelling like cabbage in no time.

Live from La La Land

Hey Boys & Girls,

This is Dallan, guitarist for The Chadwicks, writing you from beautiful Los Angeles, California. Just out here for a few days on sabbatical. And by sabbatical, I really mean hanging out and drinking way too much with my movie star and super model friends. Bruce Boxleitner and Conrad Bain say hello, by the way. We really tied one on last night at The Good Luck Bar. As hungover as I was this morning, I still got up and took a run through the Hollywood Hills. It was a lovely, sunny morning and I had The Black Moods jamming on my iPod. Man, I miss that band.

But don’t think for a minute that I’m not also getting some work done. The Chadwicks are playing this Friday the 13th (cue scary music) at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale and we’re all hard at work on some brand new songs to play for you folks. It’s going to be Killer*, so Jet** on down this Friday and join us for a real live rock and roll show.

Y’all should be knowing that the stage lights will be glowing, the brew will be flowing and skin will be showing. There’s really no reason not to be going.

Did you know that some jets*** are made by Boeing?

I best be blowing.

See you this Friday,

Rocking Is Fun!

It’s been awhile since The Chadwicks have had a home in Tempe. We’ve seen way too many of our favorite live music venues close their doors over the years and not enough new ones pop up. That’s exactly why it excites us to see a club that isn’t known for live music experimenting with hosting rock and roll shows. Most clubs don’t just become great music venues over night. It’s a process of evolution, as sound systems, lights and stages improve slowly over time. But, if you’re a fan of live music, then the very fact that a club is taking the plunge is reason to celebrate.

I’m very happy to say that the shows we’ve played at The Library Bar & Grill on Mill Ave. have been amazing. The sound is getting better and better, the crowds are getting bigger and crazier and the band has been rocking harder and harder. We’re hoping to continue this trend by playing there at least once a month and doing our best to blow the roof off the place.

And did I mention that those little outfits the waitresses wear are getting hotter and hotter? Mercy!

Come on down this Friday at 10:30PM and see what it’s all about as The Chadwicks rock The Library on Mill Ave. in Tempe.

As always, thanks for supporting live music. We’ll see you there.

Another Kind of Homecoming

Arizona Free Press article dated 8/16/06:

Fresh off of their one day tour of Scottsdale, AZ last month, The Chadwicks will be rolling back into Tempe this Friday for a performance at The Library Bar & Grill. We checked in with them during the long drive to see how they’re feeling.

“Being on the road is really rough,” stated The ‘Wicks exuberant guitarist, Dallan Baumgarten. “You miss home. Even in Scottsdale, there was like, a totally different smoking law and everything. We’re just so excited to get back to the best fans that any band could hope for. Scottsdale’s great and all, but Tempe is where we feel the most comfortable.”

Angular bassist, John Colby, chimed in, “I couldn’t agree more. The people in Tempe are just the most down-to-Earth, real people in the whole world. These are the fans that have been the most loyal to us throughout the years. We owe so much to each and every one of them. These are truly our people.”

“Dallan and John nailed it!” exclaimed boisterous lead singer Tim Teal, who was quick to add that “It’s not just the fans. Before the tour bus had even pulled out of Scottsdale, we were already salivating at the thought of having wedge salads from one of our favorite Mill Ave restaurants, Gordon Biersch.”

Hammer handed drummer, Gary Sanchez, who walked in midway through the interview, took exception to Tim’s comment. “I think I’m partial to the subs at Silver Mine.”

Following this Friday’s triumphant return to The Library, what’s next on the horizon for The Chadwicks?

“The rock never stops,” replied Teal. “There’s just no stopping the rock.”

“It’s true,” elaborated Dallan. “Haven’t you ever heard the expression “non-stop rock?” No? Well I’m sure it’s gotta be a saying. And it definitely applies here. Someone had to have said it at some point.”

After pausing reflectively, Dallan added, “Well anyway, I’m saying it now.”

The Chadwicks play at 10:30PM this Friday, August 18th at The Library Bar & Grill on Mill Ave. in Tempe.

Fresh off of their one day tour of Tempe, AZ this past week, The Chadwicks will be rolling back into Scottsdale this Friday for a performance at Martini Ranch. We checked in with them during the long drive to see how they’re feeling.

“Being on the road is always tough,” stated The ‘Wicks spunky guitarist, Dallan Baumgarten. “You miss home. Even in Tempe, there was like, a totally different area code and everything. We’re just so excited to get back to the best fans that any band could hope for. Tempe’s great and all, but Scottsdale is where we feel the most comfortable.”

“Dallan and John nailed it!” exclaimed leather-lunged lead singer Tim Teal, who was quick to add that “It’s not just the fans. Before the tour bus had even pulled out of Tempe, we were already salivating at the thought of having tuna poke from our favorite old town restaurant, Drift.”

Hard hitting drummer, Gary Sanchez, who walked in midway through the interview, took exception to Tim’s comment. “I think I’m partial to the cheese steaks at Philadelphia Sandwich Company.”

Following this Friday’s triumphant return to Martini Ranch, what’s next on the horizon for The Chadwicks?

“A very brief hiatus,” replied Teal, “then we’re off to Milwaukee for a couple of shows at Summerfest, where we’ll be opening for Los Lonely Boys and David Lee Roth.”

Book Smart!

The Chadwicks are very excited to be playing at The Library this week. No, not that library. The Library Bar & Grill on Mill Ave. in Tempe. It’s so much better than that boring, old public library. Let’s compare and contrast, shall we?

1. Public Library: requires quiet so no one is disturbed.
The Library Bar & Grill: requires loud rocking for maximum enjoyment!

2. Public Library: contains an infinite wealth of knowledge.
The Library Bar & Grill: contains an infinite well of tasty alcoholic beverages!

3. Public Library: an ideal place for reading.
The Library Bar & Grill: those sexy school girl uniforms make it hard to speak in complete sentences, let alone read!

4. Public Library: people often refer to the huge book shelves as “the stacks".
The Library Bar & Grill: people often heard referring to “huge racks".

5. Public Library: no rock and roll bands appearing…like…ever.
The Library Bar & Grill: featuring The Chadwicks this Friday, June 16th from 10PM to midnight!

If you haven’t seen The Chadwicks in a few weeks then you’re past due! Come on down to The Library in Tempe this Friday and check us out! :-)

Problem Solved!

Noble Chadwickians,

As far as we can tell, based on the internet posts, letters and articles appearing in major newspapers across the country, you fine people just can’t seem to get enough of The Chadwicks’ Friday night shows at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale.

After several clandestine meetings and much deliberation on the part of the band, the club and a third party, independent research firm that was hired out of pocket, there seems to be only one logical solution to this problem.

Instead of bogging your brain down with all of the complicated, technical terminology and professional jargon that was bandied about at these secret meetings, I will attempt to convey the basic gist of the solution in much simpler, layman’s terms.

The Chadwicks will be playing this Friday, April 14th at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale at 10:30PM.

We hope to see you there.

Chadingtons,

Can you even believe that it’s St. Patrick’s Day again?!?

Time to wear green clothes again!

Time to drink green beer again!

Time to puke green beer all over your green clothes again!

The Chadwicks will again be rocking Maloney’s in Tempe this Friday, March 17th from 8-10PM. It’s a St. Patrick’s day tradition that just rocks too hard to be stopped. We’ll be sandwiched between The Polyesters and Metalhead, so pace yourselves for a full night of music and a full belly of green beer.

If you know what’s good for you, you won’t miss out on St. Patty’s Day at Maloney’s this Friday. You don’t want to risk angering old St. Patrick. We wouldn’t want him to unleash a green potato famine!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Music Fans of All Ages,

I give you…The Chadwicks!

Live at the Martini Ranch in succulent Scottsdale, AZ, this Friday, February 24th from 10PM-1:30AM. For one night only (this month anyway), they will grace the stage with three powerful sets of rock and/or roll music that will monumentally move and mystify the masses. They promise to perpetually both placate and perturb the population. Sending you sights and sounds that signal the offset of sumptuous, serendipitous and simultaneous Seventh Heaven and Shangri-La.

And that’s only in the first ten minutes. After that? We’re gonna get naked and start the revolution.

Please don’t miss out. Because that would be bad.

(Trust me. You’re gonna want to be there. For that revolution.)

Hey Chadwickers,

First off, a big thanks to everyone who came out to see us this past Friday night at Martini Ranch. You guys were incredible and we had such a great time. I was still so amped up by the audience the next day that I had to break out every live concert DVD I own in an attempt to keep the feeling going. Talk about your wild crowd.

(How wild were they?)

They were so wild that after the show the band had to go straight from the club to the emergency room to get rabies shots. (ba doomp boom)

They were so wild that Steve Irwin, the crocodile hunter, filmed the show so they could air it on Animal Planet. (ba doomp boom)

They were so wild that in order to get everyone to leave at the end of the night, the security guards had to set out bear traps. (ba doomp boom)

They were so wild that…okay, okay. Back to the business at hand.

“E!’s Wild On Scottsdale” continues this Saturday at one of the biggest, wildest parties we play all year. The FBR Open is in town and we’ll be rockin’ Jilly’s American Grill’s 7th Annual Caddysack Tent Party in North Scottsdale. Rock Lobster opens the festivities at 8 PM followed by The Chadwicks at 11PM. This is easily one of the most highly anticipated and talked about brouhahas of the season. It’s knock-down. It’s drag-out. It’s your chance to see us as we were meant to be seen; in our natural habitat on a giant stage with a giant sound system and lighting galore. You really don’t want to miss this. Last year’s show was completely out of control.

(How out of control was it?)

It was so out of control that several key CEO’s were indicted on 69 criminal counts of stock manipulation, conspiracy, money laundering, and wire fraud before the federal government had to step in to regulate it. (ba doomp boom)

It was so out of control that the Scottsdale Police Riot Squad gave up, got naked and started doing beer bongs. (ba doomp boom)

It was so out of control that…

…we hope to see you there again this year.

New Year’s, Baby!

Wow. Another year is coming to a close. You know what that means.

LAST CHANCE TO ROCK OUT!

The Chadwicks have been so busy playing weddings and private parties throughout the holiday season that we’re very excited to be able get back to the clubs and deliver the rock directly to the people. This weekend you’ll have two chances to come share the fellowship.

Friday, Dec. 30th we’ll be at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale playing from 10:30Pm until 1:30 AM. We’ll be reflecting on the past by playing some songs that we haven’t played in years and we’ll be looking towards the future by playing a couple of brand new songs that we’ve never played before.

Then, on Saturday, Dec. 31st (new year’s eve) we’ll be rockin’ the Scottsdale New Year’s Eve Block Party from 8-10PM with Metalhead and others. Check out the link below to get your tickets.

Don’t miss your very last chance to rock out 2005 style with your good friends The Chadwicks.

We hope to see you there.

As always, thanks for supporting live music.

Karma

Well, I just had two guitars stolen after my Rock Lobster show this evening and I’m still in shock.

The security guards at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale somehow managed to miss someone getting onto the stage at 2AM, grabbing a double gig bag containing both of my Fender Stratocasters and waltzing right out the door. One of the employees even noticed an ugly guy wearing a beanie standing next to the stage holding the guitars but just figured he must have been a friend helping to load out. How is this possible? What kind of a world do we live in? The worst part is that, due to the problems we’ve had in the past with gear being swiped at Martini, I took great care to remove any and all objects of value from the edge of the stage and place them out of reach. My microphone and my effects pedals were each carefully unplugged and put toward the back of the stage, near my guitars, so that no one could easily pocket them. Little did I know that, on this particular evening, they were the least of my worries.

I have, of course, filed a police report on the off chance that the instruments (and their respective serial numbers) somehow show up in a local pawn shop, but I will not be holding my breath. Sadly, my only real recourse is to pray to God and all that is holy that the hideous, smarmy, scum sucking, low-life, sh!t eating, turd faced, needle dicked, loser, asshøle, bastard responsible will one day be sent straight to Hell for all of eternity and BURN, MOTHERF#CKER, BURN!!!

Obviously, I would beg anyone with any information regarding this incident to contact me. I would also greatly appreciate it if you would join me in praying for lightning to come down and strike this thieving jack off’s black heart.

Sincerely venting,
Dallan

P.S. (I’ll bet the scum bag who stole them plays guitar like a pussy!)

Blue Balls!

Hola Chadwickaderos,

I hope everyone had an exciting and spook-filled Halloween. We certainly had fun performing as the most “craptacular” band in the world on Friday night (you had to be there). The only let down was that we only got to play one 90 minute set. But, we anticipated the possibility of the dreadful rockus interruptus and countered it’s side effects by booking a full show the following week.

We’re back with three full sets this Friday, Nov. 4th at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ. We’ve got a couple of new songs that we’re itching to play and we’re looking forward to rocking until the wee hours once again. We certainly didn’t get our fill last Friday and we’re hoping that you didn’t either.

We hope to see you there.

Be afraid. Be fairly afraid.

The Chadwicks are back with a vengeance this Halloween. We intend to scare up some ghastly rock and roll for you to sink your fangs into this weekend.

The Chadwicks will be performing one masterfully monstrous set of music this Friday, Oct. 28th at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. We’ll attack the stage at 9:30 sharp and won’t stop until we’ve slayed the audience with 90 minutes of all out sinful rock n’ roll slaughter.

As per our usual Halloween modus operandi, we will thrill and entertain you not only with our musical massacre, but with our uncanny sense of outlandish wardrobe and attire. Never one’s to shy away from funnin’ ourselves, this year’s outfits will have you crapping yourselves. Seriously.

Get your tickets early because they’re cheaper if you do. Oh yeah, and there’s some other bands playing and stuff happening and whatever. Check it out and buy your tickets here.

And if you can’t seem to get your fill this weekend, we’ll be back at the Ranch the following Friday, Nov. 4th with 3 full sets.

Thanks for supporting live music. We hope to see you there.

Hello Oh-So-Generous Chadwickians,

Workin’ It This Friday!

Hey Y’all,

I hope that everybody had a safe and enjoyable Labor Day. The spirit of the hard working American is never more apparent than on the first Monday of each September when we work really hard at eating 6 or more hotdogs in one sitting. Ahhh. Labor Day. Feels good to be an American doesn’t it? (Oh, my stomach.)

To quote the great Mike Reno, “Everybody’s workin’ for the weekend.”
(Wait a minute. Loverboy’s from Canada. Oh well.)

This weekend (Friday, Sept. 9th to be exact), The Chadwicks will once again be working very hard to deliver the rock to the people. We will be staging this rock and roll pony express at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. Delivery of goods starts at 10:00 PM and continues until 1:30 AM or later. We’d love for you to accept your priority rock package in person.
—————————–
Please don’t forget about our fellow countrymen and women who have been suffering as a result of Hurricane Katrina. There have been some talks about getting a benefit show together that would include The Chadwicks and/or Rock Lobster. We will be sure to pass along the details pronto when we have something further to report. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to donate to the Red Cross or any other viable relief effort.

READ ALL ABOUT IT!!!

Yes. The rumors are true. All of them. Let’s get started.

1. The Chadwicks are back in action this Friday, Aug. 26th at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale.

2. We launch into three full sets of full throttle rock and roll on Martini’s new, larger stage at 10:15PM.

3. Tim got a sex change since our last show and can now hit even higher notes than before thanks to the hormone shots and curtailment of his twig and two berries.

4. Dallan, however, is still the one wearing the ladies’ under garments.

5. The Chadwicks continue to rock out with their c@cks out (except for Tim, of course).

For full confirmation of these rumors, you’ve no choice but to investigate further this Friday night at Martini Ranch. We’ll see you there.

How’ve you been?/Jeff Scott Soto Rules!

Hey Chadwickians,

It’s been a few weeks since The Chadwicks have played out and we’ve missed you very much. Honestly. We certainly hope you haven’t forgotten about us. We’ve been busy playing a whole lot of private events ($$$) that aren’t open to the general public (ergo “private"). In fact we just got home from playing the Connell/Griffin wedding in Chicago, IL which was lovely and very fun (from what we can remember).

The Chadwicks will be back at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale on Friday, August 26th and I’ll be sending you full details the week of the show. The brand new, larger stage is working out quite well. Heck, it’s almost like a real rock n’ roll show. Honestly.

Speaking of real rock n’ roll shows, if you’re looking for something to do until then, do yourself a favor and go check out Jeff Scott Soto this Friday, August 12th at Martini Ranch. Jeff is a long-time friend of The Chadwicks and an all around swell guy. Honestly. This is Jeff’s solo band, but you may remember Jeff from his early days singing with Boogie Knights. Or maybe you heard his voice as the lead singer of Steel Dragon in the movie Rock Star starring Mark Wahlberg. Or maybe, just maybe, you’re familiar with his new band Soul Sirkus with Neil Schon of Journey. Either way, it’s only 5 bucks to get in and the show starts at 8PM sharp. Get full details at http://soulsirkus.com/. You’ll be glad you went.

We’ll see you in a couple of weeks (or come say “Hi” if you spot us at the White Stripes concert on the 19th)!

All The World’s A Stage…

…and so is most of Martini Ranch now that they have a brand new, even bigger stage (made from state of the art space-age polymers). If you haven’t experienced it yet, then I’m telling you, it is truly something to behold. It is to be likened to the great pyramids of Egypt, the great wall of China or the great Big One with cheese at the Chuckbox on University in Tempe. It is to be likened, it is to be loved and it is to be lavished with the pedals of exotic flowers from across the globe (okay, I’ll stop now).

The Chadwicks are just back from two very successful Summerfest performances in the lovely Milwaukee, WI and we’re reved up and rarin’ to play the new, improved Martini Ranch. We’ve also got several new songs we’d like to share with the masses, so please be a dear and come on down ready to rock out with your c@ck out.

Start time is 10:15 PM and in honor of Milwaukee’s Summerfest, we’re going to play until 3:30 AM (Central TIme).

Don’t forget. The Chadwicks, Friday, July 15th at the Martini Ranch in beautiful downtown Scottsdale, AZ.

As always, thank you for supporting live music.

Two (2) shows this weekend!!!

The Chadwicks are back, as promised, playing our old stomping grounds, Martini Ranch, this Friday, June 3rd from 10PM-1:30AM in beautiful downtown Scottsdale.

Bid-niz az usual. Rock. Roll. Booze. Nakedness. All around, general zany antics. It’s not to be missed. Unless of course, by some wild stretch of the imagination, you are somehow not into rock, roll, booze, nakedness or all around, general zany antics. In which case, why are you reading this again?

A last minute twist of fate would have The Chadwicks traveling directly from Scottsdale (literally) to Scotland (figuratively). Saturday, June 4th, we will be playing an outdoor concert to commemorate the grand opening of Tilted Kilt in Tempe. The show is from 6-9PM at the corner of Warner and Kyrene. There’s one in Texas, there’s one in Vegas, and wouldn’t you know it, there is now one in Tempe! Check out their website because the menu looks GOOD!

Hey Chadwickers,

No gigs for the next two weeks (nothing open to the general public anyways), so I wanted to take this time and space to say “Thank you".

Thank you!

Fact: Most bands just don’t stay together very long, no matter how well received they might be.

The Chadwicks have been very fortunate. We’ve outlasted most and we’ve outrocked just as many. We’ve had lots of amazing times along the way. But mostly (honestly), we’ve had lots of amazing fans along the way. We never could have accomplished anything without the best fans in Arizona, if not the world. We’ve been so incredibly fortunate to have each and every one of you along for the ride with us. And the ride’s not over yet.

If anything, we sincerely hope that we’ve lifted you up way more than we’ve ever let you down. We certainly feel that way about you.

We’ll see you June 3rd at Martini Ranch (patience, Daniel-san), but until then, as always, thanks for supporting live music…

…and thanks for lifting us up.

Did I mention that it’s always a really zany, heckuva good time that we have there. Just some quality, all around swell fun if there ever was any. The pleasure is all on this side of the table, I assure you.

This week you’ll have not one…not two…but FIVE chances to rock out and drink margaritas with Los Chadwickos!

1. Thursday, May 5th at Macayo’s Cinco de Macayo outdoor dance party in Tempe from 8-10PM. Always the place to be. This year The Chadwicks are opening up for our good friends Rock Lobster (10:30-Midnight).

The Chadwicks like to keep busy and busy bees we’ll be this Friday, April 29th!

It all starts at The Raven Golf Club in Phoenix where we’ll be playing Moonsplash 2005, opening for the likes of Dramarama and The English Beat. We hit the stage at 5:30 O’Clock PM, sharp, for a one hour, power packed, over the top set of raucous rock and roll. Brought to you by The Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix, The Raven Foundation and Independent Radio, The Edge 103.9, Moonsplash is described as “One part golf. Two parts concert.” All parts of Moonsplash’s profits will support charitable children’s efforts in the Greater Phoenix area. Even if you choose to skip the “One part golf” part, don’t miss out on the concert part of this fantastic fortuity of philanthropic festivities and fun.

From there we head on over to Scottsdale to headline the Martini Ranch from 10 PM to close, where we’ll have even more time to slather our assemblage of spectators with three sets of salacious and scintillating songs.

There’s a gonna be food. There’s a gonna be drinks. And, there’s a gonna be a special appearance and autographs by the one and only Evel Knievel! No word yet on whether he’ll be jumping over the band during our set.

Truer words, truer words…
We’re still coming down off the high of performing to (something like) 300,000 people for St. Patty’s Day at Maloney’s in Tempe, but we just can’t stay away from our home away from home for very long. The old, familiar (recently expanded) stage keeps calling to us.

I’m talking about The Martini Ranch in beautiful downtown Scottsdale, Arizona, where we will be performing this Friday, March 25th. Start time is 10:00PM, if you don’t already know the drill. Rock, booze, hotties. You catch my drift.

It’s a gig like any other gig, except that at this gig our bass player will be one year older than the rest of the band. That’s right. We will be celebrating the birth of that indomitable, bronzed Adonis to the right of stage. Please feel free (ladies) to smother him with loving birthday wishes and kisses. Rest assured that this will only lead to annoyed embarrassment on John’s part, thusly resulting in thorough and prolonged amusement for the rest of us. We’re counting on you.

Oh, and we’re still searching for just the right bikini-clad someone to hop out of the cake. Our drummer Gary just backed out at the last minute.

As always, thank you for supporting live music.

We hope to see you there.

Top of the Mornin’ to ya, O’Chadwickers,

It’s the one you’ve been waiting for all year long.

This Thursday, March 17th is the 13th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Maloney’s in Tempe and the The Chadwicks are headlining once again. Our good friends Chalmer’s Green and Metalhead are also playing. Music starts at 2PM, but pace yourselves because The Chadwicks hit the stage at 9:00PM and we won’t stop until we’re puking green (sorry about that).

Image from azcentral.com There’s a gonna be some bull ridin’ (a very Irish activity?). There’s a gonna be a dunk tank with the Arizona Dream Girls (who cares if they’re Irish?). And, there’s a gonna be enough of my good friend Al Kohol to make Maloney’s the happiest place on Earth (very Irish!).

Oh and did I mention that a chunk of the proceeds goes to benefit United Phoenix Firefighters Association Charities.

And if that weren’t enough, The Chadwicks will be appearing on the Fox 10 Morning Show at 8AM St. Patty’s day mornin’. We’ll be rockin’ live from the Maloney’s stage. Tune in and see how us non-mornin’ folk roll.

Crazy Hats & Charity!!!

Hello fellow Chadopotamuses,

Do you love animals? Do you like the Chadwicks? Are you into great, big, crazy hats?

If you answered yes to all three of these questions then there’s really no question where you need to be this Friday night. Please prepare for your destiny.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona is throwing The Second Annual Great Big Crazy Hat Party this Friday March 4, 2005 at the Phoenix Zoo. Doors open at 7pm with the sweet sounds of “Arizona ’s best cover band, The Chadwicks” (not my words). Tickets are only $35 and include the best food you’ll ever eat with a giraffe staring over your shoulder.

Don’t forget the theme. Head gear of the most insane and hilarious variety is the standard for the evening. There is a prize for the craziest hat. The Chadwicks will be appearing in concert this Friday, Feb. 18th at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. It’s our last public performance in February (shortest month of the year, you know). We go on at 10PM and play until we are legally obligated to leave the stage (which doesn’t always mean handcuffs. That was an isolated incident).

We will have a limited number of Chadwicks 2005 Calendars and Bumper Stickers for sale at the show. Certainly there’s a Chadwicks fan in your life that would appreciate a nice little gift like that. Yourself, maybe?

GUZZLE THE ROCK!!!

Attention all Chadaholics!!!

This is no time for rehab (it’s for quitters).

I know that the Chadwicks just came off of two gigantic FBR Open benders (er, shows) in North Scottsdale, but there’s no reason to stop now. Playing in front of thousands of screaming maniacs just makes us crave more, More, MORE!!!

Acme Roadhouse in Tempe is throwing a knock-down, drag-out rock n’ roll party in the street and you’re all invited! The last time that Acme threw a party like this it was off the hook (did I really just say “off the hook"?)! Yes, it was OFF THE HOOK (that’s twice now)!!!

It’s happening this Thursday, Feb. 10th. The Chadwicks will start binging (er, take the stage) at 10PM and play until we can no longer stand.

The Rock is not to be sipped daintily.

GUZZLE THE ROCK!!!

GIANT TENT PARTIES!!!

“Spaulding, get dressed you’re playing golf.”

Personally, I only get excited about golf twice a year. Once when I invite friends over for an annual screening of the classic 1980 film “Caddyshack", and then again when the FBR Open hits Phoenix and somebody decides to throw a Giant Tent Party!!!

Did someone say “Giant Tent Party!!!"??

It’s time once again for…

The FBR OPEN Miller Lite Birds Nest Tent Party! The Chadwicks will be headlining on Thursday, Feb. 3rd from 7:30-10:30 PM. There’s gonna’ be a gigantic stage with a gigantic sound system with lots and lots of food and drink ("How about a Fresca?"). This year it’s on the corner of 82nd Street and Bell Road and you can check out The Phoenix Open website for all the details. ("Correct me if I’m wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers they’ll lock me up and throw away the key.")

Speaking of “Giant Tent Parties!!!"…

…it’s time once again for…

The 6th Annual Jilly’s American Grill Caddyshack Tent Party. The Chadwicks will be headlining on Saturday, Feb. 5th from 11PM to whenever they kick us out ("Don’t you people have homes?"). There’s gonna’ be a gigantic stage with a gigantic sound system with lots and lots of food and drink ("I want a hamburger… no, a cheeseburger. I want a hot dog. I want a milkshake…"). And, get there early because Rock Lobster will be opening from 8-10:30PM ("We can do that. We don’t even need a reason.")! The address is 7301 E. Butherus Drive, Scottsdale, AZ (at the Scottsdale
Airpark). 480-368-8663.

If these Giant Tent Parties are anything like previous years’ Giant Tent Parties…

“Hey everybody, we’re all gonna get laid!

“IT’S IN THE HOLE!”

—————————————-

Q: What do you call a member of The Chadwicks that carries a golfer’s clubs?

A: A Caddywick! ("Chaddy” maybe? No? I can tell by your face, no.)

“And that’s all she wrote.”

Show & TV Interview!

Happy Hannakwanzmas Chads and Chadettes!!!

The Chadwicks will be performing tonight at 10PM at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale. Get set for another raucous night of rock and/or roll. Please leave your underwear at home.

We will be taping a television interview for a Channel 13 program called “Where It’s Hot In the AZ” just prior to the show, so you know that we’ll be all dolled up and lookin’ purdy. They will also be taping a portion of the concert, so if you show up early and hoop and holler on camera for us, it can only make our community look better. And that’s good for America.

This will be The Chadwicks’ last show this year (until we rock the Scottsdale New Year’s Eve Block party with The Fixx and Lit) so don’t squander it by going to some lame club with a boring DJ.

LIVE MUSIC RULES!!!

!!! THANK YOU Chadwickers!!!

Hello once again fellow Chadwickians!
Unbelievably good time last night!!! We laughed…we cried…we dropped trou…we laughed again.

Thank you from the heart of our bottoms to everyone that graced us with their rock and roll spirit last night. A more beautiful and motley crew we’ve not seen in a long, long time. Many faces from throughout the 10-year history of the Chadwicks that came out of the woodwork to make our last night of a very long Thursday night run the most special of them all. And especially to the ladies: Thanky, thanky, thanky (someone needs a little spanky).

Also, extra special props to those folks who boarded airplanes just to be a part of it (Boston, Milwaukee, Chicago…you know who you are).

The limited edition Chadwicks golf clubs that Brad Hotchkiss donated for the raffle were a huge, huge hit. It seems that some of the raffle participants that were not quite fortunate enough to win one were asking about their availability. I’m sure that if you called Brad at Mirage Golf Design (480-517-9890) you could commission some more, or any other design you might want. After all, that’s what he does (at least that what he does in addition to using Photoshop to put our faces on other people’s bodies in order to give everyone a good laugh. He does a lot of that too).

Also, to answer any inquiries regarding Chadwicks t-shirts, hats, calendars or any other gear you might desire for the holidays…It’s all available at the Chadwicks store on our website. Although, after all the free stuff we threw out last night, we may have satisfied all demands (Nahhh!).

Lastly, but not leastly, a big thank you to Dana Hastings of Dafire Designs, who is our webmistress extraordinaire. She spent a lot of time designing the ultra-cool Chadwicks 2005 Calendar, as well as a lot of the other gear available at the Chadwicks online store. You can contact her through the links page of our website for any of your photo or design needs.

Whew! OK. That just about covers it. Sorry for the lengthy note.

We really just wanted to say…

THANKS EVERYONE!!! (sniff, sniff)

P.S. (Sorry to anyone whose song request we didn’t quite get to. We were
pretty hammered. But then again, so were you.)

!!! Attention: Chadwickers!!!

Come on out this Thursday night, Nov. 18th for The Chadwicks FINAL Thursday Night performance at the Martini Ranch in Scottsdale and help us send off a 10-year tradition of Thursday night Rock & Roll mayhem!
The concert kicks off at 10PM and will not subside until we’re falling down drunk (or 1:30 AM, whichever comes first).

If you believe the rumors circulating on the Zone 101.5, this is the last show ever before we disband and call it quits!!! *

In addition to doling out more free rock and pop than you can shake a stick at, we will also be parting with some very odd and special prizes. Our good friend Brad Hotchkiss of Mirage Golf Design has donated several custom “Chadwicks 10th Anniversary” golf clubs that we will be giving away throughout the show (and just in time for the holidays, can you think of a better/cheaper Christmas gift for the golf love of your life?).

And we’re not just talking prizes, either. We’re talking special guests too. Slash, Bono, Mick n’ Keith and Dave Navarro are all planning on joining in on the fun by jamming on stage! And let’s not forget our very special guest M.C.’s for this momentous evening…Carmen Electra and Miss Pamela Anderson!!! **

I believe it was Socrates in the 4th Century B.C. who said, “Rock on, fuckers!”

There’s no arguing with ancient Greek philosophy and there’s no missing out on a party this monumental!!!

We’ll see you Thursday!
———————————
*hint: We’re also playing at the Celebrity Theatre this Saturday, Nov. 20th opening for General Public with Dave Wakeling!
** All “special guests” are subject to cancellation at the last minute.
