Dallan on The Chadwicks:
Favorite Chadwicks moment:
This one time…at band camp…it was Friday the 13th, a full moon, and I wasn’t wearing any underwear. During the concluding moments of our show, I tried to swing my guitar up over my head and around my back in a very dramatic 80’s metal-type-fashion. Something I’ve done successfully hundreds of times. I launched it up good and hard, but the guitar didn’t come back down. For a few moments, the laws of the universe ceased to exist. Reality became very distorted and I was certain that I felt an ebbing in the force. It was very frightening. I thought that perhaps my guitar had been abducted by aliens. Then I looked up. It turns out it had gotten stuck on some pipes in the ceiling.
Low down on the band mates:
Dallan: Very difficult to get close to. I don’t even feel like I know my own self.
Gary: Monster drummer with a monster in his pants.
John: The brains of the operation. Not that he’s a licensed physician or anything. I mean he can’t technically operate. Not on a human being, anyway. But, he’s very smart. He probably could if he wanted too. I mean…if the medical board had only been a little more open-minded in their review. He plays killer bass, but that doesn’t mean he’d ever lose any patients. However, I’m pretty sure he’s losing his patience.
Tim: Singers. They’ve all got LSD (Lead Singer’s Disease). You just can’t get them to shut up. The world needs guitar solos too you know. We don’t always have to listen to what you have to say, Tim! Alright, I’m calm now….
